The Producer
Botter was tounded by Carlo Botter and his wite Maria in 1928 in Fossalta di Piave, a small town near Venice. It started off as a small business selling local wines in barrels and demijohns.
Its Veneto wines come from the family vineyards, located near Treviso. Atter three generations, and fantastic growth due to a very good reception of their products by Italian wine lovers and abroad, Botter remains a tamily run business, with high standards of quality.
Tasting Notes
This Italian sparkling features the recognizable Glera/ Prosecco aromatic profile dominated by pears and roasted apples. It is generously sparkling, dry (brut) and light-bodied.
Pairings
Excellent with vegetable or seatood starters, soups and risotto. Also a good match for grilled fish and white meats.
