The winemaking consultant is Eric Boissenot, (also the main consultant for Latour, Margaux, Mouton Rothschild and Lafite!). Simply no one understands the Medoc terroirs and grapes better than him. Castera has everything it takes to produce an amazing red from North Medoc, and you can taste it!
Tasting Notes
On the nose we find a combination of plums and blackberry aromas with notes of chocolate and toffee. In the mouth, it is full-bodied with medium acidity and silky tannins.
Pairings
Barbecues, steaks and burgers but also hearty vegetable dishes and cheeses like aged Manchego, Gouda and Cheddar.
