The Producer
Bodega Sumarroca is strongly attached to the age-old winemaking traditions of the Penedés region, the heart of top quality cavas. This, combined with their innovative spirit and hedonistic Mediterranean philosophy makes treshness, elegance and smoothness their specialty. Cavas are made tollowing the same winemaking principles as in Champagne, with a secondary fermentation in bottle that results in tine and elegant bubbles.
Tasting Notes
Ripe pear and peach with floral undertones and subtle brioche notes. The fine bubbles and the bouquet are quite reminiscent of a classic Champagne Brut. Dry and fresh.
Pairings
A nice option for seafood, appetizers and light fish dishes. Also great with white meats and many styles of tapas.
