The Producer
Chateau Charmant is a tamily-owned estate of only 4 hectares (this is exceptionally small for the area!). René Renon's vineyard is surrounded by some of the most prestigious producers of the appellation: Margaux, Lascombe and Cantenac Brown. The vines are 60 years-old in average. The vineyard's soill is a mix of gravels and clayey sand with South and Southwest exposure. These great characteristics result in a bold style of Margaux consistently among the best of the region.

Tasting Notes
Prominent black fruit aromas, ripe cherries and hints of licorice, chocolate and subtle toast from the oak aging. Moderate acidity, supple tannins and long aromatic finish.

Pairings
Pertect with roasted chicken and red meats with mushrooms and many other earthy dishes.
