Frissons Chardonnay

$39.00

Region: Burgundy, France
Grape varietal: Chardonnay
Alc: 13%

The Producer
Cyril Gautheron (owner of Domaine Gautheron in Chablis), like his neighbors, is increasingly affected by extreme climatic conditions in the vineyards. Frissons means "Chills": one year, after a terrible spring frost that destroyed 80% of the harvest, Cyril went to explore the greater Chablis region to find top quality grapes in less affected corners of Burgundy and produce a delicious Chardonnay in the refreshing Petit Chablis style.

Tasting Notes
A refreshing bouquet of mandarin and grapefruit with subtle notes of pineapple. This light-bodied chard has a soft texture and nice acidity for a refreshing finish.

Pairings
Pair it with prawns, avocado or cucumber and many more summer and mediterranean flavors. Great with white fish.
