The Producer
The Kula varietal wines are produced by the Maturana brothers in their Puente Austral winery. Jose Ignacio is a seasoned winemaker, former technical director of one of the largest Chilean producers. Varietal wines made with Cabernet Sauvignon or Sauvignon Blanc have no secrets for him. With Kula he managed to create wines with all the typical characteristics of those famous grape varietals, and his personal touch adds great character.
Tasting Notes
A nice bouquet of cherry and plum with notes of vanilla and roasted bell pepper. It is medium-bodied with sott tannins and nice balance. A great easy-drinking cab.
Pairings
Ideal for dishes with red meat, seared tuna, pasta and paella. Excellent choice for pizzas and burgers.
