Maturana Naranjo Torontel

$36.00

Region: Loncomilla, Maule Valley, Chile
Grape varietal: lorrontes
Alc: 13.5%

The Producer
The Maturana brothers have successfully combined a variety of factors to produce clean, highly aromatic and untorgettable cuvées of natural wines. Jose Ignacio is a seasoned winemaker, former technical director of one of the largest Chilean producers, but he found real purpose in this family project: working with very old vines, small-scale and organic agriculture, preserving vineyards of heritage grapes, making small amounts of remarkable wines.

Tasting Notes
Orange wine with 9 months of skin contact. Intense bouquet of dried orange peel with notes of honey and white flowers. It is medium to full-bodied, with a rich texture balanced with a refreshing acidity.

Pairings
Excellent with fresh Sashimi or sushi. It would also work great with chicken or grilled duck. It is the type of wine that can pair complicated spices.
