There are two types of Champagnes: big brands and farmers. Francis Orban is the latter, and an extremely meticulous wine-maker. His Domaine sits in the small town of Leuvrigny, in the heart of the Marne Valley, known among experts as being the best place to source Pinots for premium Champagnes. Francis specializes in Blancs de Noirs (made only with black grapes). He tavors a lighter and racier style and is obsessed with getting the finest bubbles.

Tasting Notes
Roasted Pears and apples, with hints of peach, jasmine and brioche. Very fine bubbles. Dry and very refreshing with spot-on acidity and body. Lot of personality, yet quite a crowd pleaser!

Pairings
The Orban Brut Réserve is pertect as an aperitif or with light dishes such as grilled fish, white meats and salads. Can also pair nicely with hard cheese and fruity desserts.
