The Producer
The Maturana brothers have successfully combined a variety of factors to produce clean, highly aromatic and untorgettable cuvées of natural wines. Jose Ignacio is a seasoned winemaker, former technical director of one of the largest Chilean producers, but he found real purpose in this family project: working with very old vines, small-scale and organic agriculture, preserving vineyards of heritage grapes, making small amounts of remarkable wines.
Tasting Notes
This Semillon is made with 20% of skin contact (orange wine). It has an expressive bouquet of citrus zest and white flowers with surprising notes of fine herbs and coffee. It his dry with a creamy texture and moderate acidity.
Pairings
Great with grilled fish or chicken, pastas with vegetables such as mushrooms or spinach. Try with fish burger or shrimp tacos.
